a few quick things about me

My mom said she put me into gymnastics because I had a surplus of energy.

The most frequent comment on my report card was: “Hadley asks a lot of questions.”

My prized possessions were fact books. I had many, many fact books. Some people call me “Hadley-pedia.”

Thanks to my history degree, I learned how to prove just about anything with citations and sources. Consequently, I have a slight obsession with footnotes.

I drove across the U.S. four times in two years and I’d do it again in a heartbeat. I wouldn’t, however, listen to The Hobbit audiobook ever again.

To the chagrin of my family, my life motto was “I’ll figure it out.” Consequently, I tried almost everything: retail, restaurants, e-commerce, start-ups, and healthcare. Then I discovered strategy and realized I could still do everything.
